Beth joined the Lydon Lynch team in 2018 after completing her professional internship first at RHAD Architects followed by EXP Architects, a large multi-disciplinary firm in Halifax. Beth began her education at the University of Alberta in Engineering, moving into Industrial Design to specialize in furniture design. Beth then moved to Halifax to study Architecture at Dalhousie University, where she received her Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies and Master of Architecture.
Beth has developed numerous projects from schematic design through to tendering, and has been the project manager for multiple projects from construction start-up through closeout. She has extensive experience in renovations, interior fit-ups and residential construction while also having developed educational, recreational, health-care, institutional, and commercial projects. Having successfully led the feasibility study and user group workshops for the Facility for Intelligent Marine Studies, Beth is passionate about meaningful stakeholder engagement, facilitating collaboration and the ‘deep dive’ into specific user needs.
